One of the many advantages of having a second home in New Zealand is to take advantage of the opposite seasons. The Northland of New Zealand has its Summer season from November to April. During December and January the sky is light until almost ten o’clock versus five o’clock back in the USA, Europe and Asia.
The clean green pollution free environment is a very refreshing experience to live. The entire country of New Zealand has lush green grass all year long. During Winter it’s usually five to ten degrees colder in the South Island which has the southern alps and excellent sking during June to August.
Strategic tax planners are available to establish legal ways to avoid paying millions of dollars in taxes through being a dual Citizen and living in the USA less than six months a year.
It makes economic sense to establish assets overseas in New Zealand which is very safe and economically affordable. For the past six months the NZ Dollar has been very low, down to US Fourty Cents for one NZ Dollar. And for the past twenty-five years the currency has averaged about US Fifty-Eight to Sixty Cents for one NZ Dollar.
New Zealand is filled with Temperate Rainforest.
Eighty-four percent of New Zealand plants exist only in New Zealand, the reason is New Zealand’s isolation from the rest of the world. The forests range from sub-tropical to temperate, evergreen rainforest and beech forests. Native Trees include Rimu, Totara, Maitai, Kahikatea and many species of ferns including some giant tree ferns.

The New Zealand people are very down to Earth. Over seventy-five (75%) are descendants from Britain and they have a proud heritage, unlike Australia which was a penal colony, and whose population generally is not trustworthy in conducting business, etc. as New Zealanders.
New Zealands citizens are extremly friendly and not at all pretenous. You will be invited to many homes, particularly if you are an American as the Kiwis are very much like Americans.
